Hello - Poison Control?

Ryan is Trouble!! Yesterday he got up on my bathroom counter, opened the medicine cabinet, got the child-proof top off the Children's Tylenol and had a little "candy" eating party.  I found them and panicked and called poison control.  They said he'd be fine, but it really scared me.  Later, I found my anti-viral meds open (also with a child-proof cap on and out of reach) spilled out and one chewed up and spit out - I am soooo thankful they taste yucky!!!  Can you just see me having to call poison control a second time in one day?  What happened to children can't open child-proof caps?  And, by the way, Where Was His Mother?????!!!!!!

Kyle Turns 11 Years Old!!!

Yesterday was Kyle's 11th birthday.  We celebrated by having Grandma and Grandpa Koch and Aunt Rachel and her fiance, Jared, over for lasagna dinner w/ garlic bread and salad and, of course, banana cake and ice cream after.  He only wanted a Rip Stick since he also wants me to throw him a birthday party next Saturday and take all his friends to see Inkheart and have pizza for dinner.  Tonight Grandma & Grandpa Christensen are having him over for banana milkshakes and one more present - a Green Day CD (takes after Chris).  We love birthdays!!

Please Take Me With You!

Chris and Kyle went skiing for Kyle's birthday this morning ....really early I might add.  Ryan woke up, of course, and wanted all his snow stuff on, too.   You have never seen a sadder person when they went out the door without him.  It just broke my heart, but I had to take a picture anyway....mean mommy!

It reminds me of the first time I went skiing with my brother, Chad, and ended up in the hospital with a destroyed knee that cost my parents thousands of dollars and myself months in surgeries and rehab.  I am trying not to panic today and wished him well this morning with a smile on my face.....AM I CRAZY?????!!!!!!!
