"Are You His Grandma?"

I feel soooo old today!!! I took Ryan into the doctor because he was running a fever and has a nasty cough that kept us both up all last night.  We got there and he, of course, was zipping around like he felt just fine.  A little girl about 3 years old came over to us in the waiting room and asked me "Are you that boy's grandma?"  And because I am a glutten for punishment I said, "No.  Why, do I look old?"  She simply said, "Yes".  I laughed on the outside, but I cried on the inside.  What a sad day!!!!  And, of course, Ryan is just fine - he just has a nasty virus that will go away on its own after making us miserable forever.  Gotta love wasting a copay!!  

New Years Day 2009

New Year's Day was spent sledding at the elementary school.  We had a great time with a little jump and everything.  It was a great day with super memories.  I think I actually wished I was 21 months again since all Ryan did was ride and never had to pull a sled or walk up one hill- what a life!!  We relaxed later at the Dollar Show watching Beverly Hills Chihuahua - very cute!

New Years Eve 2009

We had a great time on New Year's Eve with several friends and their kids at our house.  Deed's brought Xbox and Guitar Hero with 2 guitars and I actually learned to play - it was a blast.  We had Foosball and air hockey in the front room which was fun, too.  Not to mention all the yummy yummy food!  I think everyone had fun and my house survived amazingly well.  The best part - Ryan went to bed when the party started and I got to relax with my friends - it was awesome!!!  Happy New Year 2009!!
